cool, it's all types of muggy here again. can't stand it. a typical boring friday afternoon at work here. some golf tourny going on so there are not alot of people in today. just passing time reading a pretty cool book.

right now i'm reading the 'structure of intelligence, a new mathematical model of the mind' from ben goertzel. it's a pretty interesting read. breaks the mind down [deduction, long term memory, preception, consciousness, etc..] and tries to explain it each funtion through mathematical logic.

funny what boredom will drive you to.

i just finished 'i am legend' from richard matheson. it your last man on earth all others turned into vampires type story. it was the bases for the movies omega man and last man on earth. [go figure]
also, the necroscope series from brain lumley is very good. any by graham masterton is well worth it as too with david morrel.

i never heard of louis l'amour. recommendations?

I got thru with The Cantaberry Tales a few days ago.

I was just fukkin' w/ you 2....I enjoy reading myself, when I have time. I only subscribe to 8 magazines. LOL! I did read some books over vacation, but nothing like Bill's reading, or any classics like Canterbury Tales either. Just a Koontz book I hadn't read yet, the last Grisham book "The Summons", and "Along came a Spider" by James Patterson. I haven't seen the movie yet, and my brother said Patterson was pretty easy reading....so I picked it up at a used book sale. Pretty good book...now I'll have to check out the movie.
